Located off the coast of Terengganu on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Pulau Redang (Redang Island) is among one of the most beautiful islands in Malaysia. Book a stay at one of the cosy beachfront resorts here, and spend days snorkelling, kayaking, and just getting some well-deserved sun, sand, and fun.
Due to its location on the East Coast, Pulau Redang is susceptible to the annual monsoon season, whereby heavy rain and winds make it unsafe to travel to. The island is generally closed from October and reopens by March/April.
The most popular months to visit Redang are from June to August due to great weather and diving conditions. However, if you're travelling on a budget and wish to avoid crowded beaches and expensive lodging, we'd highly recommend planning your trip during the non-peak months!
